Prairie View: 

Prairie View was established July 15, 1879 on section 33 of the Rock Island Railroad. The town was not platted until later on September 24, 1887 by Daniel W. and Mary E. Thomas, Robert and Olive E. Thomas and the Kansas Town and Land Company. 

Prairie View is located twelve miles north of Logan at 39°40’57” N 99°18’39” W.
