The Register of Deeds Office is responsible for recording all transactions relating to real estate in Phillips County.

This includes deeds, mortgages, oil and gas leases, and platted additions to all cities in the county. We also record federal IRS tax liens, State unemployment tax liens, mechanics liens on personal property, military discharges and powers of attorney along with other miscellaneous documents.

 Our office also files Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statements and other related documents.

Records: The records that we have in our office are open to the public with the exception of the Kansas Real Estate Sales Validation Questionnaire and military discharges which are closed by Kansas Statute.
